Questions and Answers

We hope you will find these helpful.

Can I take my child on holiday during term time?

Yes, there is no statutory requirement for your child to attend Pre-School. However, if you pay fees for your child these will still be charged; and if your child is entitled to the funding and is absent for 3 weeks, we are obliged to inform Cheshire East Council and you may lose the funding.

What do I do if my child is poorly?

We ask you to call us or text to inform us your child is poorly, especially if they are suffering from sickness and diarrhoea or chicken pox, as we can then advise other parents of any illness going round Pre-School.

What clothes should my child wear to Pre-School?

We advise your child does not wear special clothes due to our activities been very messy as we wouldn’t want to spoil them. We do have a non-compulsory uniform available.

What does my child need to bring with them?

Please supply a named water bottle each session, a named coat and wellington boots, as well as a named bag with spare full sets of clothes if your child is toilet training as we will require lots!

My child is still in nappies, do I need to toilet train them first?

We are happy to take children still in nappies but we do require you to supply your own nappies and wipes in their named bag. We will work with you and your child to help toilet train when the time is right for your child.
